Introduction to GNOME Shell Extensions

The GNOME Shell Extensions package contains a collection of extensions providing additional and optional functionality to the GNOME Shell.

Installation of GNOME Shell Extensions

Install GNOME Shell Extensions by running the following commands: 

mkdir build &&
cd    build &&

meson setup --prefix=/usr ..

This package does not come with a test suite.

Now, as the root user: 

ninja install

Command Explanations

-D x11=true: Enables X11 session support. This is deprecated and X11 support for GNOME will be removed in GNOME 50.
